Season 6ofLove Is Blindhas captured the attention of the world, but season 1 OGsLauren Speed-HamiltonandCameron Hamiltonare not among the viewers waiting on the edge of their seats for a new episodes to drop each week.
Speaking to PEOPLE about their partnership with Lay’s forthe launch of their new Sweet & Spicy Honey flavored chips, the couple explains why they haven’t consistently kept up with the hit Netflix series, despite meeting and getting married on the show.
“I have seen clips of this new season, but I haven’t dived in yet, like the rest of the world. I’m going to be honest, just from the past few episodes [of season 5], I don’t know,” says Lauren, 36. “I’ll keep watching and seeing what people are saying online and seeing how things develop and then that’ll determine. If not, I may stay tuned in.”
Cameron, 33, agrees: “I think that’s pretty fair to say. I do think there is an element watching the show, even though — gosh, Lauren and I filmed that six years ago — there’s still an element where watching it brings back that experience. Just seeing the pods kind of takes you back.”
“So it could be kind of an intense experience,” he continues. “It’s not just flipping on any old show and just enjoying it. There’s a certain level of investment for us, I think, watching the show. So [it’s] just something to keep in mind.”
