United’s Magnolia partnership joins other major carriers, that are adding more familiar comfort food brands to their on-board menus. In November,Delta Airlines and Shake Shackannounced they will begin serving the chain’s cheeseburgers on flights out of Boston, but with plans to expand to “other U.S. markets throughout 2025.” Like United’s Magnolia offering, the all-American classic will be limited to passengers seated in first class and “on routes over 900 miles.”
