Jason Kelcecouldn’t resist teasing his brother about his busy weekend, which included anappearance onSaturday Night Liveand at least three outings with Swift. Somehow, Travis, 34, also managed to squeeze in time to attendhis big brother’s gamewhen the Philadelphia Eagles faced off against the New York Jets.
On the episode, Travis divulged more about his star-studded weekend with Swift, 33, includingtheir “awesome” cameos onSNL, as he called the experience “spectacular.”
“It was electric to be back in that place. There is just something about being in that room. And being their first episode this season, I had such a freaking blast man,” he said before thanking the show’s producer, Lorne Michaels, for welcoming him and Swift.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end added that the pair “showed up atSNLhaving the idea of going, supportingIce Spice. Her and Taylor are good friends.”

As for his involvement in one of the sketches, which poked fun at what Jason, 35, called “Swift mania in the NFL,” Travis admitted, “I don’t even remember what I said, I blacked out. As soon as they queued to me, the entire place erupted, which was very overwhelming.”
He added that he walked offstage and wasn’t sure if he’d said anything at all. “Everybody was like, ‘Yeah, no, you killed it.’ And I watched it over and I still don’t really know if I said what I was supposed to.”
Travis also responded to some hilarious internet discourse aroundhim playing the role of security guardwhile he was out and about with the “Anti-Hero” singer this weekend.
After his brother asked if he “got any pushback from the actual security guards” for “pushing them out of the way,” Travis set the record straight.
“I didn’t push him. I placed my hand on the gentleman’s back to let him know I was behind him. If I would’ve pushed him he probably would’ve turned around and tased me.”

He also clarified that security did not “say anything about” his behavior as he said Swift’s team was “great.”
Travis told his brother that his behavior over the weekend — helping Swift in and out of the car at their various stops in New York City andholding on tight to her hand— was typical of how he acts on a date.
“I feel like whenever I’m on a date I’m always having the sense of like, I’m a man in the situation, I’m like protective, yeah for sure. You always kind of have that feeling — or that self-awareness, I guess.”
After their surprise appearance on the season 49 premiere ofSNL, Travis and Swift went to Catch Steak for the show’s afterparty. He told his brother on Wednesday’s episode, “It was fun catching up with everybody over atSNL. I miss those guys — guys and girls, I should say.”
Once inside the party, the duoreportedly showed some PDAin between chats with the other guests.
A source told PEOPLE, “Taylor and Travis were there all night and they were so smiley, they were so happy,” while at the afterparty on Saturday. “They were so talkative. They were really fun. They talked to every single person in the room that talked to them.”

Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs player reportedly carved out some private time at the party, as well. The insider said there was a moment when Travis placed his hands on the “Bejewled” singer’s shoulders “so they’re face to face, and then he takes both his hands and grabs her waist. They’re leaning in, they’re kissing each other."
The source added, “They were super cool. Super nice, super happy.” They also noted Swift and Travis stayed at the party “until after 4 a.m.”

Swift and Travis have been making headlines sinceSwift attended her first Chiefs gameon Sept. 24. Since then, she’s been to two more games, where she has cheered on Travis, andchatted with his mom, Donna Kelce.
A source told PEOPLE that despite their busy schedules, Swift and Travis aregiving romance “a real try.“The insider said, “There’s not some looming date like, ‘Oh, she’s going back on tour’ and ‘his football schedule is getting crazy.’ They’ll figure it out. He’s said it himself, he knows what he signed up for with this attention, but they’ve spent time under the radar too. They’re giving things a real try.”
