Janelle Brownis moving on from her marriage toKody Brown— but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have some lingering “affection” for him.
The 54-year-oldSister Wivesstar exclusively tells PEOPLE that everything has been “all friendly” between the exes sincetheir split was announced in December 2022.
“I still feel some affection for him, but I don’t want to be married to him and I don’t want to be with him, but I have no hard feelings,” she shares. “I really don’t have any hard feelings.”

Despite still being on good terms with her ex, Janelle says, “I wasn’t heartbroken when the marriage fell apart, maybe because we’d been drifting apart for so long. It was just a bang that let us drift apart all the way.”
In a sneak peek of Sunday’sSister Wivesepisode, Janelle decides to spend her birthday with Kody despitetheir marital woes. But she admits they “had reached a point where we weren’t connected and I was very frustrated” before their latest blowout fight.

In a confessional from the upcoming episode, Janelle alsoquestioned her futurewith Kody, explaining, “At this point, I really don’t foresee Kody and I working our relationship out.”
Despite admitting their last interaction was “the worst fight” they had ever had, she is still hopeful to keep things peaceful during her birthday celebration.
“I don’t want any fighting,” she said. “I just want to be easy and have fun and celebrate the day.”
