Joan CollinsandLily Collinshave suffered a case of mistaken identity!
The two stars eventually ran into one another at the2019 Met Gala,where they laughed about their shared last name and their mailman “constantly” delivering mail to the wrong person, Joan detailed in her memoir.
“Lily Collins and I laughed about the days we lived in the same building in L.A., where the postman constantly misdirected our mail to the wrong Collins,” wrote theDynastystar and screen legend.

Their last names aren’t the only similar thing going for them. The theme of the Met Gala that year was “camp” and the two actresses opted for remarkably similar flamboyant white ensembles.
Both women accessorized their looks with glittering headpieces.

Reflecting on the spectacle, Joan wrote, “What an experience it was. I loved my first Met Ball, and I would certainly go again in a heartbeat – although at $30,000 a seat, I’ll wait to be invited!”
