Nearly everything that happens on Damien is utterly ridiculous . But we ’ve narrowed it down to the three most WTF - did - that - just - bump moments . Par for the class when you ’re dealing with the Antichrist , the character of guy who can animate self-generated ego - castration among those in his midst .
Yeah . That totally go down , in the police post , no less , and it ’s not even on the most ridiculous tilt .
First , we saw Simone take a bath — which seemed a small gratuitous to be honorable — and rive this out of the drain :
Okay . Then , when Damien ’s chest - butting with a truly suspicious Detective Shay , the cop visits a vend automobile that ’s photographed so ominously I half - expected the dramatically - dispensed bite to explode after strike down down .
( They do n’t . ) Damien . You ’re trying way of life too arduous with this .
And finally , when Detective Shay and his husband are cooking breakfast ( in the happy view ever depicted on this show ) , their Logos roam outside , tempt by a appendage of Damien ’s Rottweiler posse comitatus . There ’s a pool outside . And while Shay ’s frantically explore for his kid , this rises up from beneath the cover .
luckily , even Damien ( which , again , showed an old man stabbing himself in the crotch ) does n’t have the stones to kill a kid . But neither did The Omen — a flick which , rent ’s not bury , was a chef-d’oeuvre of cartoonish - yet - terrorize fury .
