Picasa , Google ’s photo storage service that you ’ve probably forget exists , will formally diestarting May 1 . Which is okay by us , considering how corking Google Photos is .
“ After much thought and consideration , we ’ve decide to kip down Picasa over the coming months for focus entirely on a single picture Robert William Service in Google Photos , ” Google said on Picasa ’s official Blogspot today . ( take note : the last metre Google update the Picasa blog was in 2011 . )
The Picasa web site and desktop app will have their plug pull over several months starting in May . Peace out Picasa .
