Nick Sirianni’s first Super Bowl win is a family affair.

“There come the happy tears,” Sirianni said while hoisting Miles in the air.

The big game — with a final score of 40-22 — saw the Eagles drag the Kansas City Chiefs scoreless into halftime. Sirianni’s team maintained a commanding lead over the Chiefs, who won the last two Super Bowls, until the very end — up 18 points as the fourth quarter drew to a close, Eagles players ceremoniously dumped Gatorade on their head coach with nearly three minutes left in the game.

Coincidentally, Sirianni’s love story with his wife began in Kansas City, Mo., where he also began his professional coaching career. They met while living in the same apartment complex, and their relationship took off when Cantwell’s sister encouraged her to go out with him.
