The company considers this product a milestone , as it is the first ever Mark Levinson - branded DVD / CD player . It does n’t play DVD - Audio or SACDs , which means this is similar to the DVD player that first insert the marketplace all those years ago , except , you jazz , better . Why ? Because the thespian has every output signal you’re able to guess ( 6 channel analog , XLR analogue , AES / EBU digital , component , HDMI , etc . ) and it looks glistening and fancy .
