Someday someone is sound to get one of these digital camera / binocular hybrids right and have a pip product on their manpower , but producer ’ continual insistance to make the tv camera lens of the eye seperate from the opera glasses really futzes up what could otherwise be a fantastical product . Take these Bushnell Instant Replay binocs , for instance , as reviewed by KC ’s David Twiddy . It ’s not a cheapo gimmick – Bushnell is a major binocular brand – but it still does n’t take images of what you ’re actually run across through the binoculars ( and has a crappy shutter speeding , too , it sounds like ) , so no matter how many pitch - up LCD projection screen and Compact Flash slots it has , it ’s still fundamentally flawed .
