Jim Parsons , a dominating force inthe defective situation comedy about nerd cultivation ever , has signed on to star and bring forth Man - Witch , a comedy about an adult male person with wizardly big businessman who is not a warlock , a mage , a conjurer , or a magician , but is alternatively a Man - Witch .

The story tell of a schoolteacher ( Parsons ) who abruptly discovers he ’s got witchlike powers . A coven of real beldame take up him in , promptly ship him to “ witch schoolhouse , ” where he is the lonesome adult , surrounded by niggling miss beldam - in - education .
gratuitous to say , this type of project is n’t quite what we were hoping to see as a termination ofThe Witch ’s popularity . And perhaps there ’s not really a connexion there , anyway : Man - Witch has been sound off around since 2005 , and at one point had the interest of conductor Todd Phillips ( The Hangover , Old School ) , as well as potential wizard Jack Black and Zach Galifianakis .
