Engadgetapparently hit uponthe motherload of AT&T powerpoints : Slides detailing the Palm Eos , a new HP iPaq and in all probability most thrilling , HTC Lancaster ( aka the Android headphone we ’ve been hold back for ) .
I ’ve always wondered what Android would be like on aTouch Pro , that ’s basically Lancaster . There is the dreary petty note that “ Initial Lab Entry particular date were based on Google Mobile Services ( GMS ) UI , AT&T standard UI has been quest , which puts agenda in question ” meaning AT&T could manure it up with their own UI , and take longer putting out the earphone in the process . Its objective appointment is Aug. 3 , and it ’ll be AT&T - single for six calendar month it looks like . Update : Oops , did n’t note at first the screen resolution is a bit too squee for our tastes ( 240×320 ) . Bummer .

ThePalm Eos slidebasically just confirmseverything from before : emaciated WebOS phone with 4 GB computer memory and AT&T all over it .

Update : Oh seem , a whole bunchof BlackBerrys are now confirmed for AT&T too — Onyx , Gemini , Magnumand a 3 G Pearl .

AT&T ’s downfall lineup is face pretty unassailable at this point : With iPhone 3 , a WebOS phone , and a solid Android piece , all of their base are cover , with the exclusion of a touchscreen BlackBerry , but um , who really require one of those now ? Good thing AT&T ’s meshwork blows , since the other carriers have their employment cut out for them . [ Engadget ]
