In the comedian , The Winter Soldier is created by the U.S.S.R. for function in the Cold War , which is why there ’s a crimson star on his branch ( you could see it intelligibly in the very last photograph ) . Since HYDRA scientist Arnim Zola will be making an appearance in the film , I ’m think he help the Russians make the Soldier in some way .

We ’re looking at mostly guys in suit , so they ’re most likely government functionary , Since Cap is in his uniform , I think we can safely assume they ’re S.H.I.E.L.D. agents , and ordered to take down Cap ( the poor dopes ) , because distinctly Cap and S.H.I.E.L.D. are going to have a major fall - out . In fact , I ’d bet the Harrier - jet-propelled plane above was also mail by S.H.I.E.L.D. ( Wacky fillip caption : Do n’t you care you used Dial ? )
Nick Fury survives the Winter Soldier ’s plan of attack , but is definitely worse for article of clothing .
So amazing .
That ’s … that ’s not good . give the edifice ’s moderately futuristic design , the helicopter landing place pad and how like the landscape painting await compared to the helicarrier screencap above , I ’m think this is credibly a S.H.I.E.L.D. building . Given that there might be a schism inside S.H.I.E.L.D. itself in the movie , this is a moderately full way of life to encapsulate that . ( Bonus wacky caption : This is why you never attempt to duplicate - green a helicarrier . )
Captain America and the Winter Soldier face off on a helicarrier ; if the Winter Soldier is responsible for pull down it , as per the pic above , then clearly he gets the best of Cap here .
Someone has died , and someone important enough that Black Widow and Cap have paid their respectfulness . Since it would be weird to kill Fury after having him survive the Winter Soldier ’s attack on his car , I ’m guessing it ’s someone else . But who ? perhaps Maria Hill ? Man , I hope not . ( If only so we keep getting Cobie Smulders in Marvel movie gag spool . )
