Almost a year after they werefirst announced , the Adidas 1 self - adapting shoe will be hitting the streets , with limited supplies shipping out March 18th and an official world-wide launching April 1st . Adidas is put plenty of money on the line , with a $ 20 million advertizement rollout and all the necessary promotion needed to convert people that they ask a dyad of $ 250 kick . I have a feeling they wo n’t have much hassle making that money back if the Adidas 1 does everything it promises to . ( Thanks , Carlos ! )
