I was top-notch - excited to find oneself out that Alcide , the werewolf from True Blood was getting his own film . It was classic . Alcide and a multitude of hot shirtless men tour the South meeting off-the-wall character with seemingly supernatural powers . There were some perplexing bits , though . Let me take you through them .
To be fair , this motion-picture show nearly lost me right off . In classic True blood line way , it drops in a new theatrical role . I remember the guy looked like Colossus from the X - human race , but seemingly he ’s actuallyGambit , which tally with the southern theme . The role player does n’t even attempt the Cajun accent , but that did n’t seem to annoy the audience as much as the fact that he was n’t in the correct costume . There were clearly a lot of strict cosplayers in the theater with me , because whenever he took off the non - canon costume they burst into clapping .
Still , we stayed with him for a while . I was about ready to take the air when Alcide appears totally naked and I knew that honest Blood had n’t genuinely changed its trend .

Alcide and his new pack have figured out that they are work to die . Not decent aside , but finally . Facing their inevitable mortality recoil them into action . At first they settle to go out in some dotty , apocalyptic conflict , but is n’t that just a piddling too simplistic for True Blood ? No , what they get wind over the track of the film is that if they ’re going to choke , they have to truly live first , and that means that each of them has to become the person they were intend to be all along . ( They come to this realisation under the influence of someone name Molly . Not sure if she was a witch or what , but she really seemed to serve them out . )
Which does n’t mean there is n’t some carnage . At the big engagement at the end , hordes of female maenad appear . One humankind frantically whistle to stave them off , but falters , and looks like devoured by the woman . I love it when the serial publication stays rightful to its mythological roots . That ’s an accurate parallel of what happened withOrpheus and the Thracian Women . Well done , on-key Blood . Well done indeed .
But really it ’s the journey to the finale that count , as it devote us the chance to explore the world in which these character live . Along the room , we take on , I mean , the Queens of both Georgia and South Carolina . ( Pity we did n’t see Russell Edgington . ) We also see a dance at a nightclub that smartly foreshadows the maenad battle .

The point of view - out , though , is thatguy who was suppose to be Spider - Man . You ’re not go to trust it , but he is still auditioning . You remember that frightful scene in the Raimi moving picture , where Peter work dark and does that weirdsong and dance number ? He re - enacts it , right down to the dingy suit . ( Except they did n’t give him a shirt . The product had to cut quoin somewhere . ) The difference is , he nail it . There was nothing but clap in the house . Well , I think there were a few other things too ( I did n’t experience comfortable looking too closely at what other people were doing ) but I assure you there was universal approving .
In the end , this is Alcide ’s account . He has a newfangled pack , and seems comfy , but he really has to work through his issues with woman . In dead on target bloodline , if you retrieve , he had to look girlfriend who sabotaged him , discount him , and tried to kill him . In this film , he look someone more fearsome — Andie MacDowell . She wrecked Hugh Grant , she nearly annihilated Bill Murray . Can Alcide live ? I would n’t dream of tell apart you how it turns out . I will only say that there is a harness require .
