This mental picture was engage in Arashiyama territorial dominion of Kyoto . I was terminate up a two workweek mainly ski holiday to Japan and was in Kyoto for 24 hour . I made it a point to visit this surface area to photograph the bamboo forest and Mount Arashiyama . It had snowed in the first light and now pelting was falling from the bamboo trees making it difficult to keep body of water off my lense . The wide angle really enable me to show how the bamboo towers over the ground and makes the path seem insignificant . Shot with Sony A57 and Rokinon 8 mm extremist wide angle F3.5 and 1/160s .
