Bamboo towboat
This mental picture was engage in Arashiyama territorial dominion of Kyoto . I was terminate up a two workweek mainly ski holiday to Japan and was in Kyoto for 24 hour . I made it a point to visit this surface area to photograph the bamboo forest and Mount Arashiyama . It had snowed in the first light and now pelting was falling from the bamboo trees making it difficult to keep body of water off my lense . The wide angle really enable me to show how the bamboo towers over the ground and makes the path seem insignificant . Shot with Sony A57 and Rokinon 8 mm extremist wide angle F3.5 and 1/160s .

The Ugly Lens
I am no Brad Pitt but not as virtually as ugly as this lens make me depend . I even got kind of cross - eyed on this dead reckoning because of the angle . This fisheyelens is specially proficient forunderwater movie , but it puddle some very coolheaded “ dry ” photograph too . The distortion charge per unit when it is on 10 mm is astounding . Since the weather is terrible here these mean solar day I decided to make something indoors . I almost had to touch my nose with the lens system to make this shot . canyon 5D Mark IIITokina 10 - 17 mm electron lens Flash Canon Speedlite 600EX - RT

The Shard
I bonk how you may use the exaggeration and straining of fisheye to give a sense of boding . This statue shows a male child gaze up towards the top of The Shard in London but how lone must he feel with the quietus of the city seemingly creeping over and engulfing him . Olympus OM - D E - M5Samyang 7.5 mm Fisheye lensISO 200 , f/5 , 1/1000secObviously a fleck of work in berth ( Lightroom )

Dead Trees
The image was fascinate with an iPhone 5s , using the suggested Fisheye app ( 3.6 ) . There were underage global correction in Paint.net , including increasing the demarcation , and adjusting the resolutions . It is a impression of a pair of tree diagram , which in the summer form a dull canopy of leaves for tincture . Now , in the dead of winter , with snow filled clouds , the offset make a decent contrast , and the fisheye event is an encompassing effect to fill the skeletal system .
